Jehovah VBS invites kids to discover who God is and how He reveals Himself in the Bible.
Throughout five exciting nights, kids will explore how God showed Himself as Provider, Rescuer, Healer, Savior, and Strength in the lives of His people.

VBS is open to children age 5 (entering Kindergarten) through those entering 5th grade this fall.

NOTES:

It is required that you are a regular attendee of Praise to volunteer with VBS.

We are not able to provide childcare for children who are not yet old enough to attend VBS.

Join us at Shear Heaven Farm for an interactive alpaca farm tour on Friday, July 25th at 6pm. 

Learn the testimony of how the farm came to be, learn the difference between wool and fleece, and snuggle and give treats to almost 40 alpacas!

Wednesday evenings from 6pm - 8pm in Room 112.

Knowing who we've become by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ is foundational when living the Christian life. It results in having confidence before God, and it can replace the negative thoughts and attitudes so many people hold toward themselves. It also enhances a person's ability to receive God's love. Lastly, it teaches us that Christianity is more about beholding than it is about behaving. The more we see who we've become, the more we'll live it.

The Bible teaches about child dedication. In 1 Samuel 1, Hannah presents her son Samuel to the Lord. In Luke 2:22, Mary and Joseph bring their baby Jesus to the temple in Jerusalem to present him before the Lord. Child dedications solidify the commitment of parents or caregivers to raise their child up in the Lord, to know God, and to make Him known.

In addition, we have prophetic teams in place that will pray ahead of time for prophetic words over your children. These are recorded and given to parents on the day of the dedication.

As you are immersed in water and brought back up, it symbolizes leaving behind the old self and being raised to new life in Christ.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation and obedience to Christ’s command. It’s a joyful celebration, shared with the church community, marking your commitment to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. While it doesn't bring salvation itself, it is a powerful act of obedience that reflects a heart surrendered to God’s will.
